A Baby Biologist

If a child is born to two biologists, she has gotta love science, right?  We shall see very soon! Mary Beth and Joe are expecting their first baby girl in a week or two.  About two weeks ago, I met this wonderful couple in their backyard to take some amazing maternity photos.  Joe & Mary Beth were so much fun to work with and I cannot wait to meet their daughter very soon.  Keep an eye out for her newborn pictures and in the mean time, take a few ganders at some of my favorites.

Beth & Eric Are Having a Baby

I met up with Beth & Eric at the Maitland Art Center.  It is a beautiful and unique location that Beth suggested.  I loved it!  The textures and colors are so fun for photographing.  Eric & Beth are expecting their first baby, Olivia, coming up soon in March.  This maternity session was a lot of fun and I had so many favorites.  Here are just a few of them.

Jenna's Baby Shower

You probably remember seeing Jenna's maternity shoot.  I was also honored to take some photos at her baby shower earlier this month.  Jenna is expecting any day now and before her son arrives, I wanted to show how much this little boy is already loved by friends and family.  Can't wait to meet him!

Shana's Maternity Session

Along with Robyn, Shana was a client of mine when Lil Paperia was not a full fledged photography business.  She liked my photography calendars and had her company buy some for their office.  Then once the photography business was up and running, she booked me for her company's holiday brunch this past year.  Shana is expecting her second baby girl.  I had the honor of photographing her, her mom, and her first daughter the last weekend of January.  Thank you, Shana, for believing in me and your support!

Jenna & Haakon

Jenna & Haakon are science nerds like me and they met while attending UCF.  So when deciding on location, we decided on UCF Arboretum.  If you live in Orlando and have never been, I encourage you to go. It is a nice walk in the woods with some native Florida pine flatwoods.  Jenna and Haakon were so much fun and such troopers to walk all over this area.  They are expecting their first baby here in the next couple of weeks.

Robyn & Patrick

A long long time ago, I thought Lil Paperia would become a stationary business.  The name even means little stationary store.  However, photography calendars turned into coffee table books and then turned into an actual photography business.  Before all that though, I had a friend who needed some wedding invitations put together and I thought it was a great first gig for Lil Paperia.  Well, over two years later, Mrs. Robyn and her hubbie are having a baby.  I was honored to be their photographer for this occasion.  Robyn and Patrick are so loving and sweet to each other.  They are also extremely funny and had me laughing through the entire session.

Gina's Maternity Session

Now, this session was an adventure to say the least.  One hour turned into about six and a half due to rain, car issues, and a few other comedy of errors.  However, I adore these pictures.  Gina and her husband have known each other since Gina was eight years old.  Now, twenty-five years later, they are having their first child together.  This couple is totally in love and it was such a pleasure to photograph them.  Here are only a few of my favorites.
